They came to be voice for the homeless dogs and cats waiting for love in our city shelters. They came to celebrate & give the gift of life.Welcome our celebrity hosts Jane Lynch from “Best in Show” and Carrie Ann Inaba from “Dancing With the Stars.”  In the past two years Race For The Rescues raised over $150,000 to help support seven nonprofit rescue groups and held adoption for two city shelters. We are proud to say not one dog or cat went back to the shelter to face euthanasiaListen To Who’s Talking About Race For The Rescues!Vanna White PSA and Margaret Cho PSARace For The Rescues is A 5K Run/Walk (dogs welcome!) or Kids 1 Mile Race to benefit: A Dog’s Life Rescue, Angels In Fur, Animal Alliance, Best Friends Animal Society, Four Legged Friends Foundation, Molly’s Mutts & Meows & The Rescue Train. Each year these 7 non-profit animal rescues save, house, give medical treatment and find loving homes for approximately 1500 once-forgotten animals.In the spirit of the Halloween weekend, we encourage you and your dog to run or walk as your favorite animal or inspiration! Every Racer gets an official Race For The Rescues T-Shirt!
