Ashes in the Air

CA has been battling the fires the last days and weeks.  Its been a terrible thing.  All the people that have lost their homes. All the people that have had to evacuate.  This past weekend it was surreal with the sun covered with an orange and brown hue.  While at the same time ash has been raining down on us. We’ve been trying to stay inside but difficult with the dogs. They do have to go out. Even though today I dont see anymore ash I have been sneezing and sneezing more than ever. My eyes are dry and running at the same time. Poor Lucy was itching all night and kept me up most of the night. Her right eye was running as well. I couldn’t even hold her still enough to reiki her.  Finally in the early hours of the morning, I held her tightly giving her reiki and she finally fell asleep for a few moments. Unfortunately for now, we’re all on antihistamines until the ash is gone. Everyone stay safe out there.
