Laura, that sounds like a plan. See if your Dad would be open. Worth a try. Reiki is amazing. If anything we could give Scoot a mental healing too on top of the physical. So sweet he sounds!

Scoot, that’s the horse’s name (finally remembered it!) is like my Dad’s child. I will talk to him and see if he is open to trying, I hope he is. It breaks my heart when I go visit and see that sweet boy limping around. He’s like a big puppy, will even lay down and put his head in your lap (whether you like it or not, lol)

Thank you Maureen for your comments. We love to Reiki horses. They are wonderful and each one gives us so much back. They have such wisdom and deepness to them. They also make us laugh. While I was sending Reiki to Shiloh all I could do was smile.

Laura, thanks for your comments. We certainly could try if you want to, Reiki will go where it needs to go. How sad that this horse is in so much pain. We’re scheduling sessions from July 4th on so let us know.

My dad has a horse that some intentionally lamed trying to get my dad to want to sell him. The guy deliberately shaved too much off the poor baby’s hoof and so now he is unable to walk easily and when he does, he is in a lot of pain. Basically his leg bone pokes out of the bottom of the hoof. My dad has taken this horse to many specialists and talks to the professors at the LSU vet school all the time in hopes that there is some way to reverse this damage. Is there anything Reiki could do for this poor horse? He’s only 3 years old I think, maybe not even that old.
