Reiki for Lost Kitty in Georgia

On the very same day we got the request for the missing kitty in Hong Kong, I shortly received this email:

Hi there.

I am a Reiki Praciticioner (since 2000) and I just joined your site on facebook this weekend…I was wondering how I could request assistance/love/light/angels/reiki for a lost cat.

2009 was not a good year for my furbabies- on 10/29 i lost my dear Shanti the cat to a hit and run driver. And then a week before Christmas, my ten year old skittish, shy and somewhat neurotic Zeus (also a cat- 200% cat in fact)  escaped out of the side door of the house I am staying in.  He was a rescue, has always been an indoor kitty and is terrified of people (after ten years,still) and there is another cat here who is territorial– and I think is running him off when he tries to get near the house…  I saw him on december 23rd and have not seen him since…

I thought, goodness, another lost kitty. We emailed back and forth. I suggest her to use Reiki and angels to try to find Zeus. This was a comfort to her.  Later on in the day she came back to me and wanted us to connect with him as well. She said I owe him at least that. I told her I could not make the decision for her. Its the journey that we are all on with our pets.

When we connected with Zeus, I saw him being petted in a very gentle way. He too was in someone’s house. He was not being hurt. He was being fed. Candy saw that his name or a name came up “Charlie”.  She saw that he was actually being “prized” meaning, very adored. He was now an inside cat.

Again, I was unsure on how his Mama would take this news. I sent with the emailing healing and comforting angels.

We heard back,

Bless you, my new friend.  I was comforted, and not surprised by your email.

If he is being loved, that is all that matters.

I just didn’t want him to be out there alone, feeling abandoned.  He is/was so skittish, he wouldnt even come to me. (or i would have gotten him in.) Don’t get me wrong.  I miss him like crazy, but one of my lessons this time around is letting go.

If he is allowing someone to care for him: Right on! I guess he was just having a wonderful adventure afterall!

I think this is the end of the chapter, but if I hear something:  I will update you. Please give Candy my love, and if she hears from him:  let me know!

I’m just moving around the corner, so to speak, so I could come back for him.  But for now, I leave him to the angels.  Thank you again.
