Since we have started the angel attunements I thought I’d remind those who are interested how angels communicate with us. There are four channels. Personally, I find this completely fascinating and as I grow and evolve so do my senses.
- Clairaudience (words and sounds)
- Clairvoyance (images and pictures)
- Clairsentieince (emotions and sensations)
- Claircognizance (a sudden knowingness)
So the angels know which one or ones we are tuned into most so they will come that way. Think about how you “know” things. For me, I’m mostly clairvoyant and claircognizant. Candy is clairaudient, clairsentient and claircognizant.
Here’s some more details straight from Doreen Virtue:
Clairaudience: A soft inner voice that describes the solution to your problem in detail almost as if you were tuning into an angelic radio band. Maybe through a catchy tune on the radio. ( I do get this from some of the animals that have passed. Such as Dasher, I heard distinctly on the radio, Go Dasher, Go Donner…) Or you might hear the voice of a deceased loved one, your name called or a bell like note. If you hear these things request the angels to turn up the volume.
Clairvoyance: Mental images that pop into their minds. You may see in your mind a sudden snapshot like picture of a mental movie or experience a dream. Often they are self explanatory but if not, ask for clarification. The angels need feedback.
Clairsentience: Emotions and bodily sensations. Maybe you feel angelic wings brushing up against you trying to nudge you toward or away certain courses of action and ways of looking at things. A warm sensation in the stomach or chest. A gut feeling that proves correct. (I always say trust your gut.) Smelling the cologne of a loved one or feeling like someone has touched you or sat on your bed when no one present.
Claircognizance: When you ask for guidance, you get a solution into your mind. its as if God downloaded a computer file marked solution to problem.
So we all have this. You just have to take the time to think about it… and see which one you have more of an affinity for… The more you use and tap into it, the more you will recognize it and the more you will grow as well. Your relationship with the angels will grow too!

) Myself, I have some of all four at different times. I am so grateful for the ability I’ve been given to tune into these levels of knowing, help, wisdom. And I love helping clients to become more confident in the levels of knowing they have access to themselves.

I wonder how I can develop these which I have experienced; it’s so amazing.. but I do pray a great deal..not sure how to progress..
Hi Vivian, thanks for your comments! We are all given the gift of one of these at least. You just have to look within and see which one seems easiest for you. Do you sense like I do? Even when I was a child I would sense things and be able to tell people the right advice. I did not know at the time this was my angels guiding me…Blessings to you , we are on a wonderful journey called life.
I am very visual and touch sensitive. Thoughts and images are highly vivid for me, as are touch and smell. I rarely display clairaudience, but occasionally. I don’t hear things, and yet I see conversations from higher beings sometimes in my mind, like a mental teleprompter. I also get flashes of color and smell around people like I’m registering their auras in a dual sensory way. It’s been fascinating since developing into my Reiki Master levels the things it has unlocked for me.
