Reiki Fur Babies

So its been awhile since I have written it feels. Someone even asked me on Twitter if I was going to blog about my vacation. As you may know, I was in Prague and Paris for about 2 weeks. While the trip itself was way too much fun and much needed bonding between the hubby and I, there was also a lot of insight. I always get a lot of insight on my trips because I have the time to slow down. I have time to just relax, close my eyes, and ponder. I don’t get to do much of that at home. I have a full time job plus doing the Reiki. So on my trip I get to pay close attention to things that I miss normally.

In the beginning of the trip, while Candy was in Rome and I was in Prague we were contacted by a client for her horse. Her horse was suffering and we wanted to give him as much healing energy as we could. I always have my Blackberry with me and if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, it just is. I am glad that Candy and I could give this horse some healing energy and surround him with comfort and love in a time where he may have been frightened. However he was not, he was at peace and love was around him.  This started off my trip. Reiki Fur Babies cares about YOUR pet. We want only the best for your pet. We want your pet to feel loved and comforted during whatever situation he or she is in. I truly believe this is our calling.  This gives us great joy in doing this as well.

We have some really very exciting things coming up. I wish I could share all of it with you all now! The Universe has really opened up for us.  The angels say as long as you keep in line with the Divine plan, more will come. SO to give one thing away since we are currently working on it is that we were given our own Radio Show. I thought, wow, what I am going to do with a Radio Show. I hardly listen myself to the radio because I usually use that time to ponder and meditate over things. BUT, we really don’t need or want a Radio show per se.  But we really feel this will be another avenue to help people help pets. That is the goal. To get more information out there. To educate people about Reiki.  Besides the blog, its another way for our clients to get to know us.

One day a woman on Twitter sent me a message that she had a vision that morning of all kinds of sick animals coming towards us to be healed. She said it was so moving, sad and loving all at the same time. I have NEVER forgotten that statement. It gave me goosebumps and made me appreciate the gifts I have.

One pet at a time, one person at a time. We can all make a difference.

I leave with this, I read Animal Speak by Ted Andrews.  Couple of things which spoke to me is that when we see crows to realize that they are magical. They remind us to look for opportunities and manifest the magic of life.  When we see butterflies, its a stage of change, joy and color. Life is a dance.  Growth and change don’t have to be traumatic. Let’s grow gently, sweetly and joyfully.

Candy and Ming, I can’t thank you enough for the amazing reiki session.  Being an intuitive and a healer myself, I know how important it is for me to receive energy work and healing from others so that I can continue to provide my clients with the highest quality service possible.

I wanted to share with you a little about my experience of receiving reiki from you. Prior to beginning, I laid down, centered myself, said a prayer, and set an intention to receive healing for my highest good.  As I laid there I found myself very naturally relaxing and going into a deep meditation.  Within the first few minutes of receiving the reiki I had a visual image come to me of something being knocked out of my head and I heard a clunk noise.  It reminded me of a golf club hitting a ball out of my head.  When I checked in intuitively I heard that this was the old beliefs that no longer served me being removed.  I then went into a deeper meditative state and at 4:27pm I heard “it is done” in my head.  This brought me out of my meditation and I knew my session was complete.

I laid there for a few more minutes just to simply check in with my body and see how I was feeling.  I noticed I was feeling very good and very rested.  One of the main reasons I wanted the reiki was that I had not been sleeping well for a while and it was starting to affect my health.  I started experiencing shifts almost immediately after the session was complete.  For the most part, I have been sleeping much better.  I have also noticed feeling more rested when I wake up in the mornings, which is great.  My body is feeling much healthier and stronger overall.

The other reason I was wanting reiki was to removed any financial blocks to abundance.  Within a couple days of my session I had 3 new clients call me.  I was a bit amazed myself, and very grateful!

The feedback that you sent me after the session was very loving, supportive, and highly accurate!  This was a beautiful experience for me and I will highly recommend it to anyone who is even the slightest bit interested.  I am already looking forward to my next session!

Even the title of this blog is awesome. How often in one’s life do you think we could get to interview a horse that we gave a Reiki session to. In all honesty, I never even thought about it until this horse’s Mama suggested it. You know me and animal communicators! They are awesome! So we were able to set it up with Janet Roper. This was her horse that we had the honor to Reiki!

When asked if he wanted a second session he began to tell us his right side of his neck hurt, then his left side. Also his teeth on the right side. He ended up with sending energy to his tail. We laughed and took that as just Reiki me everywhere!!

We had the honor of being asked by dogtime. com to be their Reiki Dog Experts. We were very happy to be asked and hope to help a lot of dogs and get some people to learn what Reiki is and how Reiki can help animals. Here’s the link http://dogtime.com/reiki-pets-faq.html it may help you tell your friends and family too what Reiki is.  I had to re-write the article even for the Editor so it was more “understandable”. So I put some extra “heart” into it.  We will write quarterly for them.

Its been a very busy few weeks re doing the website but we feel its a much better way for people to find us and be able to just find what you are looking for. So if you are a “dog” person there is a category for reading about how Reiki has helped different dogs!  If you are a “cat” person there is also a category for cats too. We also have one for turtles and rats.  We have also given Reiki to a parrot but still have yet to write the testimonial for her. She (the parrot) had received 3 mental healings!

Some of you know we started a bath product, an orb filled with Reiki which got great feed back. But we have decided to put that on the back burner due to manufacturing difficulties. However Candy and I have got something great to show you all when we get back from our vacations.  Reiki Fur Babies will be on break for a bit but when we get back we will have more insight and will be lauching something new and looking forward to helping more pets all over this great earth!

Request from the UK for mental healings for Monty.  This couple had a baby and their dog felt like he had been “replaced” Here’s what Mama said, “he could do with lots of mental healing, issues with our baby “displacing” him, and plenty of issues from history with previous owners- first kennelled at 6 days old,  history of biting through fear, generally afraid of most things! We’ve had him since he was 6, now 11 yrs old.”

This dog receives reiki from its owners, they asked us to “top it off”.

The next day, Mama says “ooh, I was just thinking of emailing you!
He’s been great really, seems more chilled out & has been getting much more attention from me”. A few days later, Monty gave the baby kisses!!

(Monty received his 2nd mental healing few monts later, his Mama said a day later: Hi again just to let you know Monty was really chilled out yesterday, when we were out in the garden playing with the baby, he joined in playing with his ball, then later when I was just sitting enjoying the sun, he got me playing ball with him again - last few times I’ve tried to get him to play he hasn’t been interested! )

We received an email from Dubai! Here are a few pix of Louis, one where he looks very anxious (a common occurrence) and a couple of others where he’s more relaxed/happy. He’s five years old, neutered, found on the street aged about one year, in a shelter for two years, with us for two years. He’s a very nervous dog, prone to aggressive behaviour and snapping if he thinks you’re going to hurt him (i.e. if you try to bath him or have anything in your hands, such as a frontline vial, ear drops, nail clippers, tick remover). He’s a nightmare at the vet, if you can actually get him in there in the first place. Screams the place down, snarls and tries to snap. Have had some success via behaviour modification and clicker training and his confidence has grown, but we still feel that he needs a little bit extra. There are lots of issues that need to be addressed. He’s very affectionate if he feels safe with you, but has occasionally turned and become unpredictable. We can read him very well now and this almost never happens, but it can be a problem when we have guests. He also has an unpleasant habit of guarding doorways so that our other three dogs cannot pass. They get scared and have to wait to us to guide them thru while he growls like crazy. Would love him to be more relaxed about this. He also guards his bed, you cannot touch him in his bed (this we can live with, but would rather he would be more relaxed there) and barks anxiously/stereotypically when he wakes up and feels unsure. He’s also noise phobic, once bolted when he heard fireworks and we lost him for 48 hours. We think he’s been beaten/abused (he flinches if you pick up a broom, mop or similar), and just want to help him find some sort of peace of mind/generally be more relaxed.

After one reiki session we received feedback! My husband said Louis looked ‘lighter’, as in lighter in spirit. He was more confident when out for his evening walk in terms of his posture. Ears were not back nearly as much as they usually are, even when he was being growly and guarding doorways from the other dogs. One time when this happened and we removed him and put him in a sit, he calmed more quickly than usual and just shook it off, literally. His tail has been wagging a lot more than usual, he’s been more animated than usual, but still a bit cranky and nervous. When out for his walk tonight he got a thorn stuck in his paw and he came rushing up to me and held his paw up for me to take it out. He has never done this before. It’s taken us two years to even get him to allow us to approach him and get anywhere near his paws, and you have to be really really fast before he snaps at you, making sure you just lightly touch the paws and don’t grab them. So for him to come and offer it and actually allow me to remove a thorn is quite a development. Thank you! (We are going to give Louis a second Reiki session as well!)

After the second reiki session of two mental healings:

 Louis has been bouncing around today full of energy. He’s been mouthing at us and licking us (which he never ever does), tail wagging like mad, looks a lot softer (muscles not as stiff as usual in both body and face), less whale eye, very very perky, sort of as if he’s regained his joie de vivre. He’s even less growly at the others, although he still has his moments. He seems to have a lot more energy today! 

 And even several days later, we checked in with Mama, she said Louis is still a puppy and the other animals are getting energy from him!

Request for a mental and physical healing for Polo. Here is what Mama said, “Thanks for agreeing to do reiki on my baby Polo. He just turned 9 y.o. He has hip dysplasia since puppy but has been good in general since we give him Glucosamine (since he was a puppy) and fish oil (started two years ago) every day. Polo has one coin sized fat lump on his chest (near the white cross pattern on his chest) and I recently found a few more smaller ones near his spine. He has great appetite, loves his food, treats and beef liver but can’t eat jerky or soft chew treats as he would throw up afterwards (including heart warm tablets). Recently he likes to eat more grass. He gets two to three walks a day. I wonder if he’s happy? Polo doesn’t like me speaking Chinese because it sounds harsher to him than English - I speak louder to my mother and father over the phone and he always runs out of the room to go to another part of the house. Polo is wary of men (except men that he knows well).

During our session with Polo, we told his Mama that “Polo is a doll!! He was singing “happy birthday to me!” (reiki session was a birthday present to Polo, apparently he knew that too!) He is very happy today. Suggestion when you get on the phone next time give him a treat, he’s just bothered by the tones as his ears are very sensitive.  We also gave him a mental healing told him to not worry about strange men unless his Mama is in trouble Candy gave healing energy on the
fat lumps, they are palpable.. and not bothering him. Gave him lots of healing energy on his hips.. He should be feeling great, I think in the next few days even today you should see him moving about better. Shortly after the reiki session we heard back from Polo’s Mama,

Thank you for healing Polo this morning and appreciate the tips and good to know he’s very happy! I touched his ears and hips at around 8am and they were very warm- I sat facing him on the floor while he was lying and he gazed into my eyes for a long while. We just came back from a walk and he trotted home with his tail up in the air- clearly very happy! He is definitely calmer around men today - he sat and watched the cyclists we drove by instead of growling at them :). You guys did great!!

We were asked to give Mama’s blind poodle a second reiki session. The first time last month we gave reiki to Uncle Henry, he was just being pestered by a younger sibling. We were able to reiki two of the four that were in the home at that time. This time Uncle Henry had been howling and Mama just didnt know why. The siberians were gone and she thought Uncle Henry would be relieved.  Mama requested mental and physical healings.

As we sent reiki to Uncle Henry we sensed he was grieving. He had a “place” with the other dogs. Being blind, he was able to know where he was supposed to be. But with them gone even though they did pester him, Uncle Henry is feeling a sense of loss.  As we grieve, pets do too.  Mental healings help. 

Later the same night we heard back from Mama, “I was wondering what time you did the reiki, because all of a sudden, when I was cooking earlier, he had come straight up to me in the kitchen and stood up and started scratching at my backside =) He ate his dinner and now he’s sitting on the couches with us watching Gladiator Thank you for telling him that I love him”

This morning, we heard from Mama again!

Henry is doing well.  He was inside the house and in my room all night last night. I brought him in to sleep on the ottoman that’s next to my bed.  I’ve been holding him more, scratching him more and giving him more kisses.  It’s easier to give him more attention because the big dogs are gone with their dad and I’m not so harried with keeping them separate and calm, you know? As much as I miss my sibes, it’s much calmer around here now which is nice.  Plus it helps that I just gave him a long, steamy, warm shower with me and cleaned him all up (even used conditioner to make his curls softer!)
He seems to just want to sleep most of the time, but I got him to get in the car this morning to go take my son to school. It took some coaxing and shaking of the keys “wanna go for a car ride?! Come on Henry! Car ride!” and he finally got up slowly, stretched and started waggin his little pompom tail to get in the car . He sits in the front seat when no one else is on the car and he’s always putting his nose under my right arm to keep petting him while I”m driving! He’s always done that, and if you have a short sleeved shirt on, he’s always poking you with his wet nose! He just needs constant touching if he’s awake.  Constant love scratches behind the ears…He’s a good boy.  I hope his grieving heals soon. Thank you again, for your beautiful work =)

Dear Candy and Ming,
    I just would love to share with you that I am so happy and relieved with the results of the reiki you have given me on my wrist.  I already knew that you’ve helped my old blind friend, Uncle Henry, so be more at peace with the other dogs in the house, but it didn’t occur to me that you could help me as well.  Through all of the many issues that my family has had to endure in the last year, including my carpal tunnel surgery that had been giving me tremendous pain and stiffness at the scar site, your reiki treaments have included healing for my wrist, as well as mental healings for my mind and heart.  With the two wrist treatments I was given, the numbness in the tips of my fingers is 98% gone and the pain at the scar site has loosened and been relieved.  My wrist is ALMOST 100% better! I have much more range of motion, I can hold things much more tightly, even unscrewing jar lids!
    I want to thank you both for the wonderful help that you have been to not only Mimi and Uncle Henry, but also to me in my most trying time. When I receive reiki, I always like to lie down and just feel it working. This is the BEST sensation in the world to me… your mental healings were very helpful at putting some calm into my mind and heart while going through this most trying and busy time of my life.
    Thank you, also, for being such beautiful and loving channels to send my beautiful blind poodle, Uncle Henry, off into the light this week.  I know he’ll be at peace and I know he’ll know he’s very, very loved, indeed.

Healing reiki to a great Dane. This great Dane took in energy like no other dog. She just wanted more and more and more. Sweet and content she soaked it all in.

Here’s what the owner told us: She was at a Rescue for FOUR years before I adopted. She’s been w/ me just as long.  She is 10 now and had occasional bladder issues that herbal remedies helped, but last few days seems problem w/ bowel and bladder control.

After the reiki session we heard back right away:

Thank you so MUCH! She is lying all stretched out and relaxed–she normally always lays tucked up in a ball. She has her hind legs stretched way out behind her–I’ve never seen her do that. She must feel good as she looks very relaxed and happy. :) The next morning, she slept well and has “no accidents” that she knows of!
